About

The idea for this web app came to me while I was standing at the Darrell's Wharf ferry terminal in February 2014. I had just left a meeting and was hoping to catch boat back to Hamilton.

I glanced at the time and walked into the small terminal building hoping to find a route schedule. Unfortunately, there wasn't one.

As it was a clear spring day, I then decided to walk out to the edge of the dock and see if I could spot a ferry in the distance. Nothing.

As a last ditch effort I tried to pull up the ferry schedule on my phone, however, as the PDF on the Sea Express website is so large, I found myself out of luck yet again.

Over the following months I began forming an idea for an easier way to navigate Bermuda by ferry. This web app was born out of a need for a fast, mobile-friendly alternative that both locals and tourists can use.

In the future, I would like to create a similar app for Bermuda's bus service.

Thanks so much for your interest and please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
